With an allocation of Rs6 billion, the Benazir Undergraduate Scholarship program could reach 92,000 students, and with an allocation of Rs32 billion, the Benazir Nashonuma program could reach 1.5 million people.

A total of Rs35 billion was set aside to subsidize the purchase of staples including rice, sugar, lentils, and ghee for those in need.

The government also removed a 10% regulatory fee on the import of used clothing, which is typically purchased by persons with lower incomes.

Starting on July 1, 2023, the National Savings Centers (NSC) will implement a new micro deposits system targeted at low-income people. Users will also have the option to create digital accounts.
